What is hyperhidrosis or excess sweating?
Hyperhidrosis is an excess of sweating which is usually located in the armpits, the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet. Sometimes it can affect other areas of the body, like head and face.
The hyperhidrosis treatment, is the only non-surgical solution to temporarily eliminate the excess sweating of the sweat glands that significantly reduces sweat in the treated area, for example in the armpits.
It’s a well tolerated, safe and highly efficient treatment that improves the patient’s quality of life.
After making a detailed clinical history to determine whether or not the hyperhidrosis treatment is indicated, a test is performed in order to define the sweating area.
Then, with very fine needles, microinjections are administered in the defined area.
The patient can immediately return to normal life.
It’s been scientifically proven that close to 90% of the patients sweats a lot less or not at all after one single session.
The reduction of the sweat can progressively perceived after two or three days and it’s durability can vary between four months and one year, depending on the particular characteristics of each case.
In the case of hyperhidrosis in the armpits, the average durability of the effects is about seven months.
